Due to the time zone difference, I was only able to catch the Canada vs Switzerland epic game. Wow, what a stinker. Canada gets shut out in 16 of 17 periods. Somehow I can relate to this, being a huge Montreal Canadiens fan. Team Canada showed a surprising resemblence to the Habs of recent years. Good goaltending combined with anemic scoring! Nothing is worse than watching your teams inabiltiy to put the puck in the net.
I believe Brodeur had a GAA around 2.00 so that's more than enough to deliver a gold medal. Too bad the offence let him down. I'm pulling for Finland to take home gold, if only because I am a huge fan of Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne.
